More information about MCS
So what exactly is the MCS?
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an independent accreditation that certifies microgeneration products, suppliers and installers in accordance with their high quality control standards. It is designed to provide a level of protection and assurance to consumers as well as a sign of quality. The MCS accreditation is the only certification scheme to cover all microgeneration products and services and has the support from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and other industry groups, as a leading organisation helping us all work towards reducing the UK’s dependency on fossil fuels and cutting carbon dioxide emissions.
The MCS Scheme provides consumers with a guarantee that their chosen installer and products meet the high standards, which have been tested by an independent MCS Certification body.
By choosing an MCS Certified Installer and MCS Accredited product allows direct access to government grant funding schemes including The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHi), Green Deal and Feed-in Tariff scheme (FiT).
Total Energy Installations is a proud owner of the MCS certification badge.
